Change Log:
Fixed the bug that the GPS radar image does not show the distance to teammates after sharing the location.
Warning:
1. Do not update the firmware if your radio is functioning properly.
2. Verify the compatible models of the firmware before upgrading to prevent the device from malfunctioning after the upgrade.
3. If your UV-25 does not have a GPS function, upgrading this firmware will cause the radio to not work properly.
4. Cannot work with UV-25.
Preparation before Programming

1. Install the update tool “Baofeng Bootloader Pro”
2.Open the “Baofeng Bootloader Pro”
3.Select the firmware “UV25Pro_NRF_401+_V0.20_250217.kdhx”
4.Choose the COM port
5. Press and hold SK2 and SK3 (the two buttons below PTT), then turn on the radio, and the
status indicator lights up green. Then connect to the programming cable.
6. Select the “Manual update”[手动升级]. Please refer to the picture below to update the firmware:
7. Reset the radio via Menu 27.
8. Finish.

The UV-25 is a great radio, however it does feel like some features of a radio of this caliber is missing. Only one of the side buttons can have is functions changed. It would be nice to be able to customize the functions of all 3 buttons, and if they could integrate with the GPS system such as allowing it to toggle it On and Off.
Another feature that would be nice would be the option of selecting different bands for the 2 channels.
Other than this its a solid radio well worth it.
