Repeater roaming, analog frequency copy, CTCSS/DCS scanning, SMS, Dual Watch, Man Down, Work Alone, and customizable shortcut keys add practical flexibility for repeater travel, hiking groups, off-road communication, and emergency preparedness. Built for versatile analog and digital operation, the DM-1801 Pro is a capable companion for staying connected wherever communication matters.

NOAA Weather RX & Alert:

Monitors 10 NOAA weather channels and switches to live broadcasts when the 1050Hz hazard alert tone is detected, helping teams stay aware of changing outdoor conditions.

One-Key Frequency Copy:

Quickly captures active analog frequencies and CTCSS/DCS tones from nearby radios, helping you sync with new team members and join existing team channels faster.

Automatic Repeater Roaming:

Scans your programmed roaming zones at set intervals and helps select an available repeater based on signal strength for smoother DMR communication on the move.

10-Hour DMR Recording:

Record incoming, outgoing, or two-way DMR calls for up to 10 hours. Review recordings with caller DMR ID, time, and date details, or export them as WAV files through CPS.

5 Customizable Keys:

Program SK1, SK2, TK, and direction buttons for quick access to power levels, monitor mode, FM radio, emergency alarm, and other frequently used functions.

Man Down Alert:

Built-in tilt sensing detects abnormal angles or prolonged inactivity. After the preset delay time, the radio can send an alarm status message to the assigned emergency contact.

QA:
Q. Is an amateur radio license required?
A: Yes. A valid amateur radio license is required to transmit on amateur frequencies. The DM-1801 Pro is designed for licensed operators.

Q. How does the recording function work?
A: The radio records up to 10 hours of DMR calls. Select RX, TX, or both, then review or export recordings as WAV files through CPS.

Q. Does roaming automatically select a repeater?
A: Yes. Roaming scans the repeater list programmed in CPS and selects the strongest available repeater signal.

Q. Does the radio support NOAA weather alerts?
A: Yes. It monitors 10 NOAA weather channels and can automatically switch to an active weather broadcast when it detects the 1050 Hz alert tone.

Q. How does the Man Down function work?
A: When the radio is tilted beyond the preset angle or remains stationary for longer than the set Man Down Delay Time, it can automatically send an alarm status message to the preset alarm number.
